WEEKLY EVENTS
All weekly events are scored via stableford format (net scoring with handicaps)
- STABLEFORD POINTS (ADJUSTED):
- Eagle = 5 points
- Birdie = 3 points
- Par = 2 points
- Bogey = 1 point
- Double bogey or worse = 0 points
Contrary to traditional stroke play, with the net-stableford format, there is no pressure or penalty for bad holes of double bogey or worse, only reward for good holes!
- INDIVIDUAL SCORING:
- Net-Stableford Points
- Example: Player makes a bogey but was given a stroke based on handicap so makes a net-par. The net-par = 2 stableford points.
- Top 6 of 10 regular season event scores count toward season-long point race
- Net-Stableford Points
- TEAM SCORING:
- Combined Net-Stableford Points
- Best 2-4 individual scores count toward team score (depending on final # of players/teams)
- Combined points are accumulated each week for season-long standings
- Teams will then be seeded upon completion of the regular season prior to the playoff tournament in the final week
To establish equal opportunity for all participants, weekly events will factor in handicaps and tee decks based on driving distance
- 9-hole rounds: open for 7 days
- Tee blocks: As per player’s designation (Red, White, Blue)
- Pin Selection: Easy – medium (may vary)
- Putting: Computer Decides (Auto-putt based on proximity to hole)
- Mulligans: None
- Environment: Terrain penalty (on) / Wind (none) / Elevation (course elevation)
